Credit Crisis Visualised
When I first moved to America in 1998, I remember the concept of having credit being very foreign to my family. My father couldn’t understand why it was so difficult for him to lease a vehicle having no credit. In the UK and Europe having no credit was a good thing. I guess the U.S. just had to learn their lesson a little too late. I found the following video to be very informative in explaining the credit crisis in a visually stimulating fashion.
PS3 To Media Haven. Part 2: One Week Is Enough!
After my first sitting with PlayOn (see video below), I was quite pleased with the easy setup. I signed up for a free trial of NetFlix and was on my way. As I sat down to watch some programming, I was upset that there was no control of any of the queues from the ps3, only the ability to watch. New ‘Droid Ain’t No Cupcake
The new over-the-air update for the G1 has a fancy set of new features. Unfortunately video recording, an on-screen keyboard and all of the other major ‘cupcake’ features we were hoping for are not there. There are some cool new features though which I won’t bother repeating. Video’s and screens after the break.
PS3 To Media Haven. Part 1: The Plan
I’ve been using my PS3 for a couple of years now, updating the firmware frequently, adding to my blu-ray collection (suck it HD-DVD) and testing out various streaming media solutions to make my cable-tv free television a source of viewing pleasure.
Although my final conclusion after much trial and error has been to use Windows Media [...]
Shortening URL’s
It’s pretty obvious why you’d need to shorten a URL. You have a long link that you want to send someone, or post to twitter. It’s too long so you shorten it. But who should you be shortening your URL’s with?
I’ve been using bit.ly for a little while now and really like the features it [...]
