Organize Incoming Mail in Outlook 2007

A simple way to organize incoming mail in Outlook is by setting up a rule. Recently I was receiving a lot of mail from a specific discussion group at work, and wanted to organize this mail specifically to one folder outside of my Inbox.

Windows 7, Ready When You Are. (May 5)

Like a gentle virgin lover whispering into your ear, I’m ready, Windows 7 RC1 has arrived for all to enjoy. The official release email was sent out to beta testers today, the follow up to a forewarning (possibly to generate buzz) sent last week. The email lists out some sort of a roadmap and a [...]

PS3 To Media Haven. Part 2: One Week Is Enough!

After my first sitting with PlayOn (see video below), I was quite pleased with the easy setup. I signed up for a free trial of NetFlix and was on my way. As I sat down to watch some programming, I was upset that there was no control of any of the queues from the ps3, only the ability to watch. I suppose this makes sense, as with my WMP11 server I can’t control content, but shouldn’t software that you pay for be able to add a little bit more functionality?

New ‘Droid Ain’t No Cupcake

The new over-the-air update for the G1 has a fancy set of new features. Unfortunately video recording, an on-screen keyboard and all of the other major ‘cupcake’ features we were hoping for are not there. There are some cool new features though which I won’t bother repeating. Video’s and screens after the break.

PS3 To Media Haven. Part 1: The Plan

I’ve been using my PS3 for a couple of years now, updating the firmware frequently, adding to my blu-ray collection (suck it HD-DVD) and testing out various streaming media solutions to make my cable-tv free television a source of viewing pleasure.
Although my final conclusion after much trial and error has been to use Windows Media [...]

YouTube Goes Wide Screen, Who Cares?

Way to go YouTube, you’re late. You’ve been outdone for months, and finally trying to play catchup. Not only are you releasing your high quality “HQ” video with wide screen format late, you’re also doing a sloppy job of your CSS. Note the links in the image above, in the bottom right corner of the [...]

Android Market

I’ll be making updates on the Android market as it continues to develop through its infancy. My hope is to download and experiment with as many applications as possible in order to give you a recap of the most useful tools. Rather than being negative towards certain applications and risking death threats from developers, I’ll [...]

Shopping with Android

I figured I’d post this since I had one of those “hey, that was my idea” moments with this cool application. A $275k winner in the Android developer challenge, Rylan Barnes came up with this great idea of being able to scan a product with your mobile device and do a real-time price look up [...]

Chrome = Fast

Google’s new browser ‘chrome’ isn’t just slim in retail space, but it’s slim on page load times. I’ve been working on a JavaScript heavy website at work recently, and let me tell you that this has blessed my testing process. Pages load so incredibly fast i can refresh a page 5 times in chrome before [...]

Digsby (Putting all of your eggs in one basket)

Within the title of this post lies the problem. I’m a huge fan of meebo and not such a fan of desktop apps for my chat conversations, but digsby might have something here. With a little bit of work, this application could take the cake and really get everything i need in one smooth looking [...]
